50 Youth Complete 3-Day SOEN 4.0 Training
Youth from "Ymer Dishnica" High School developed their skills in leadership, participation, and creating ideas for community change.
Balkan Youth Activism (BYA), in collaboration with "Ymer Dishnica" High School, successfully completed the 3-day online training as part of the SOEN 4.0 project.
During the training, 50 youth engaged in interactive activities, discussions, and group work, developing knowledge and skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, decision-making, and active community participation.
From Idea to Action
Over the three days, participants learned about the opportunities offered by SOEN 4.0 and the journey they will follow in the upcoming phases of the project.
A particular focus was given to Participatory Budgeting in Municipalities and Schools, helping youth understand how they can identify community needs, propose ideas, and be directly involved in decision-making processes.
Participants also worked on Needs Analysis, learning how to identify real problems, collect data, and build ideas that address concrete needs.
Leadership, Creativity, and Teamwork
The final day of training focused on leadership and the ability to act.
Through activities such as "Mission Possible – Leadership in Crisis", "Zero-Budget Event Hackathon", and Personal Leadership Plan, youth were challenged to think creatively, make decisions, and collaborate to find solutions.
These activities helped participants reflect on their role as young leaders and active actors in the community.
The SOEN 4.0 Journey Continues
The completion of the 3-day training marks only the beginning of a new phase for participants.
Going forward, youth will have the opportunity to participate in the 5-day international training in Kosovo, as part of YOUth Catalyst, where they will further develop their ideas and engage in the process of creating, voting, and implementing youth initiatives.
Through SOEN 4.0, youth move from identifying problems to creating solutions and from participation to concrete action.
BYA thanks all participants and "Ymer Dishnica" High School for their engagement and cooperation.
