Overview:
7 participants from Albania are taking part in the "Survival - Youth Exchange" program, representing Balkan Youth Activism in an international experience focused on personal development and outdoor education.
This project offers young people the opportunity to experience a different way of learning through practical outdoor activities, cultural exchange, and collaboration with participants from different countries. The focus is on survival skills, environmental awareness, and strengthening social and civic abilities.
During this exchange, participants are learning basic techniques for living in nature, sharing their cultures, and developing new skills while coexisting in an environment without continuous use of technology.
"Survival - Youth Exchange" aims to empower young people by helping them build self-confidence, develop their capacities, and create new international connections.
Impact:
The participation of Albanian youth in this activity is further proof of Balkan Youth Activism's commitment to creating valuable European opportunities for young people.

This 6-day exchange creates a meaningful space where participants explore what it truly means to feel safe—through storytelling, creative expression, and intercultural dialogue. The project encourages young people to reflect on personal experiences, share perspectives, and build a supportive environment together.
Key Activities:
• Icebreakers and team-building exercises to create a safe and inclusive group atmosphere
• Personal storytelling sessions and visual timelines reflecting individual journeys with safety
• Community mapping to identify safe and unsafe spaces in their local environments
• Creative workshops, roleplays, and critical discussions on media, politics, and perceptions of safety
• Intercultural evenings celebrating diversity and cultural exchange
